Dreadnought Solutions
Where protocol meets policy.
About Dreadnought Solutions
The institutions that will shape the next century of finance are being designed now — often by people who understand technology but not regulation, or regulation but not technology. Dreadnought Solutions exists in that gap. We provide senior advisory to governments developing digital asset frameworks, to financial institutions entering Web3, and to protocol teams navigating regulatory complexity across jurisdictions. Our work spans regulatory strategy, legal architecture, and operational design — always at the point where policy decisions meet technical reality.
Founded by Chrissy Hill — a 25-year qualified CLO and COO who has advised Sir Tony Blair, Dr Gavin Wood, and Konstantin Lomashuk — Dreadnought brings a rare combination of institutional credibility and deep technical fluency. From landmark IPOs at Linklaters and investment banking compliance at Barclays, through scaling the Tony Blair Institute across 40 jurisdictions, to shaping legal frameworks for token classification and DAO governance at Parity Technologies — we have built the infrastructure where no playbook exists. The name means fear nothing. So do we.
Our Services
Institutional Bridge
The gap between traditional finance and decentralised infrastructure is not technical — it is linguistic. Banks don't understand validator sets. Protocol teams don't understand compliance committees. We sit in both rooms. We translate risk frameworks into protocol logic and tokenomics into language a board risk committee can act on. From tokenised deposits to on-chain custody, we help institutions enter Web3 and help Web3 earn institutional trust.
Operational Design
Building a protocol is not the same as building an institution. We bring COO-level advisory to organisations scaling from startup to regulated entity — governance frameworks, board structures, risk architecture, and the internal systems required to meet institutional scrutiny without losing the pace of a technology company. We have scaled organisations from 25 to 500 people and from 116 to 600, and managed the discipline of scaling back down.
Regulatory Architecture
Governments are writing the rules for digital assets in real time. We work at the drafting stage — advising regulators, shaping policy, and helping firms navigate the FCA authorisation process, cross-border licensing, and institutional compliance frameworks. From token classification to stablecoin regulation, we build the legal and regulatory infrastructure that lets businesses operate with confidence in a landscape that is still being defined.
