Analysis and commentary from the digital frontier.

Regulation for AI, digital assets and quantum-era risk is not settled law. It is being argued out in conference halls, working groups and regulator consultations, several years ahead of the statute that will eventually describe it. This is a record of where Dreadnought Solutions has taken part in that argument.

What Chrissy speaks on

Accountability for agents

Liability does not disappear because a machine acted. It lands on whoever held the authority to act, which is why agent credentialing, not agent capability, is the governance problem.

Quantum-era preparedness

Harvest now, decrypt later means long-retention records are exposed today. With migration running five to ten years, the deferral calculus has already inverted.

The UK regulatory transition

Authorisation gateways, cross-border perimeters and the operational reality of becoming a regulated firm rather than a registered one.

Working groups

Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, AI & Quantum Working Group

Chrissy Hill chairs the AI & Quantum Working Group at the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, the industry body for blockchain adoption in financial markets. The group exists on the premise that AI risk and quantum risk are one problem, not two: the AI estate is a cryptographic estate, and agent credentials are now the fastest-growing key population in most firms.

  • Know Your Agent. The group’s first workstream. KYC asks who you are; KYA asks what a thing is permitted to do, on whose authority, and how that authority is revoked.
  • Quantum preparedness. A case study on AI governance, risk management and regulatory compliance for post-quantum migration, mapped to work firms already have underway.
  • Top 10 Agentic AI Risks for Financial Institutions. Out for public comment, Q4 2026.
